made in the tradition of early hooked rugs, with a few upgrades.
rather than using burlap (a wood pulp material that degrades quickly when exposed to moisture) these rugs are hooked onto a densely woven cotton backing to ensure they last for generations to come.
NO GLUES, NO SYNTHETIC FIBERS.
held together securely with tension, without the need of any adhesives - just like the traditionally hooked rugs from the 19th and 20th centuries. This ensures they’re suitable for everyday use, and makes them much easier to clean, maintain and restore down the road.
